Hey Gang! Neph here~ Yes, I am Nepherses Amat, your neighborhood event planner! Let me tell what we have coming up this month at AngelGate. First off, being a very spiritual and interfaith land, AngelGate is dedicated to transformation, but that also means celebration. What I have been trying to do is create event where we can play, have discussions and meet as a community, as well as, allow the rest of the Second Life community come meet us. So here it is for the rest of December 2008.
As you know we have consistently been holding Friday Nite Cafes at Angelgate. Thus far we have had Mythica Writer with his folksy rock sound streaming as we chat and dance, as well as, the fabulous playlist creator, DJ Katje Broek! Our “Hot Latin & Cool Jazz” Friday was Smoking! So I would like to continue that once a month! Kat creates other eclectic theme evenings too! So next Friday, the 19th of Dec. we will have:

Sounds good, yes? And it is the Solstice on the following Sunday, so I will lead a ritual drum circle, in the Zen Tree forest, in the northeast of the SIM. Tell your friends and come drum! A little ritual, a little drumming, a little dancing, a little chat, what more could you want?

Meanwhile, Dr. Debruyere is working on a big exibit for the 26th of Dec. in the Main Gallery. I have also just put together a show in the Castle and Tower Galleries- two floors of the gorgeous paintings of William Bougereau… plus a whole lot of information about this 19th century master. So we must have an opening! I will update everyone on the possibility of a Winter Victorian Ball in the Castle Ballroom including a live concert. So look forward to further post and my notices inworld!
